Editorial policy

Official sources only

Every rule comes from the byelaw published in an official gazette, from the council or DGT website, or from the Spanish state gazette (BOE). A press article tells us something may have changed; it is never a source. Before publishing, the rule is read in the official text and stored with its address and date.

Reviews

A script downloads every source each week and flags those that have changed; on top of that, all content gets a full review at least every 12 months and each January, when tax byelaws take effect. Future dates in each byelaw are stored in the data, so the answer changes by itself on the day.

Errors

If you spot one, write to contacto@etiquetazbe.es. We fix it, update the check date and add the case to the automated tests. The methods are in How we calculate.

Independence

No one pays to be listed or for the order of the cities. We sell no stickers and no appeal services.
